| I hate to bring it up but I do have a concern. Because the pipe joins the flange at an angle I can picture creating turbulence and a low pressure zone on the side closest to the "crease". The former head engineer at Turbonetics once warned me to avoid turbulence just upstream of the compressor... they had a small pile of cracked compressors traced back to a thermocouple just upstream during a test program. Once it was removed they stopped cracking compressors. It was blamed on fatigue from the blades interacting with the turbulance off the back of the thermocouple. I hate to seed doubt now but I thought I should say something :/
